The Hobsonville Point Runway Challenge

Welcome to the Hobsonville Runway Challenge! This event is a fun run or walk with a difference that takes in the interesting and historic surrounds of the old Hobsonville Airbase.
While following the trails and paths around the course and admiring the views towardsthe city and across to the North Shore Bays, you can also have a go at numerous obstacles challenges (if you choose to!). If getting a personal best time is your goal – then perfect!We will time every entrant. If you’re more into a great day out with friends and family what better day to do that than Mother's Day!

There is an event option to suit all ages and fitness abilities. The event starts beside the Catalina Cafe and follows the roads, trails, old airbase and remaining buildings of the NZ Air Force. For those of you who participated in the inaugural event, and had a great time and wanted more obstacles - we listened to you! There will be an additional 4-5 obstacles around the trails, footpaths, old Air Base buildings and retired run way.
Event options include; 3km Kids Adventure Course Run or Walk, 5km Run or Walk and 10km Run or Walk.
Each option includes optional obstacle courses.
